Come join TFW’s sponsors, designers, and special guest for the launch of an amazing fashionable week. Guests will experience the first major event at this unique and beautiful location in downtown Tucson. Featuring industry leader, Founder and Principal of Colkitt&Co, and UA alumnus, Nathan Lee Colkitt. Colkitt will be the judge of the Designer Competition where each fashion designer will be given an architectural structure created by Colkitt&Co. and in turn designers will create a garment inspired by the architecture. Competition participants include: Angela Johnson, Kelia Gallagher, Kimberly Loyd, and Quinlan Wilhite. This night will also feature a fashion installation and presentation by the leading national vintage and second hand clothing boutique, Buffalo Exchange. Competition hair and makeup supplied by Taylor Friel, Buffalo Exchange presentation hair and makeup will be supplied by Ricky English Hair. Food provided by Proper, and Diablo Burger.

THE GARDEN PARTY

Emmy award-winning stylist and author David Zyla will host the Color Story, an interactive fashion show; including local retailers Loop Jean Company, Posh Boutique and W Boutique. TFW 2014’s Industry Icon, Joey Rodolfo, Senior VP of Tommy Bahama Men’s Design and UA Alum will be highlighted with a retrospective collection of his life’s work and special award presentation. The Hidden Garden fashion show will feature local and regional designers Jamaica Cole, Christina Cornwell and Laura Tanzer. International and local designers Estaban Osuna, DeAnna Williams, Theo Doro, and Tonatiuh will create unique fashion exhibits. Stella Inger, Anchor from KGUN9 will MC the evening. Presentation hair & makeup supplied by Ella6, runway hair and makeup supplied by Fringe Hair Studios. Food will be provided by Blu: A Wine & Cheese Stop, Prep & Pastry, and Kingfisher.

FILM TUCSON PRESENTS: PROJECT RUNWAY SHOWCASE & PROJECT ARIZONA

Hosted by Film Tucson, TFW 2014 Sponsor, this high-energy evening will open with a spectacular costume collection from former Director of the University of Arizona School of Theatre, Al Tucci. The evening will showcase Project Arizona, inspired by the hit TV series Project Runway featuring three emerging designers: Estrella Sevilla, Loreto Echevarria, and last year’s Betsey Johnson’s Choice Award winner, Magnetic Threads. A dramatic fashion presentation from Tucson Fashion Week Founder, Elizabeth Denneau and her collection CandyStrike will be staged in the lobby of the theatre throughout the night. TFW will close with an exhilarating and never-before-seen Project Runway Showcase featuring collections and appearances by five Project Runway and Project Runway All Stars designers: Bert Keeter, Korto Momolu, Daniel Esquivel, Mila Hermanovski, and Peach Carr. Our MC for the night will be Allison Cooper, VP of Sales and Marketing of Visit Tucson. Tucson’s own Fashionista, Camerone Parker will be the special Project Runway Host. Hair and makeup supplied by Fringe Hair Studios. Food will be provided by Agustin Kitchen, Acacia Real Food & Cocktails, and Penca.
